Many of you might have read that LittleBigPlanet made an appearance for the first time in the UK, over at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival. I found some good impressions on the internet by visitors to the show, and here is one of the better written ones.

For me that is. After reading the preview in this months EDGE magazine. This article contained some information on the creative tools, that Media Molecule have painfully/carefully crafted from scratch. Loads of new information was included, so I’ll talk about the things that’s caught my eye, and got me more excited.

Firstly, you find out that, all the ‘official’ game levels (50 of them) designed for the Single Player game (which impressed Edge editors) where all designed using the same ingame tools that ‘you’ the user will be using. I certainly understud this would be the case, but had some doubts after seeing the complexedy some of the latest singleplayer levels showed at this years E3.
